Congrats. I think they are top-shelf. I bought one about a year ago from a buddy who was down on his luck and wanting to sell some stuff. I don't have quite twice that in it, but close. That's what they were selling for at Walmart at the time so...

I think you got an excellent buy. I guess they could get cheaper, but that's a good buy right now and they're just a solid-as-a-rock weapon.

Sounds like a bargain to me - I did about the same as EE with a LE6920 from Walmart for almost double what your into this one...

I got my wife one of the 6920's when Wallyworld was dumping them cheap. She shot it with my spare eotech for a while then decided she didnt like the front sight.

Its now the bedroom gun and is superb in that role as she got lucky in the Dicks/ Troy debacle.

She went to buy new running shoes and came home with a Troy for $750 NIB. I traded the quad rail to a member her for the Alpha rail on it.

She's a fairly shrewd negotiator as somehow a few week ago she convinced a guy at the gun show to trade her a NIB Aimpoint CompM4 for her Eotech XPS.

Wouldn't mind finding one at that price. Eotech needs a new ride since the ACOG came along.

I didn't at first, but Gruff left his AR laying in his pickup, so now I do.

I wanted one of the tan Magpul edition 6920's that Walmart was selling at the time, but I decided to get my friend's instead. I ended up getting black Magpul furniture for it, which is how it sits now.

Yes, without furniture. But, not from GB.

I find myself liking or using GB less and less.

I wish, I just bought one new from Sportsman's Warehouse like three weeks ago with magpul furniture 999.00. My first Colt, been wanting to try them.

If I can find one for the price your talking I'd buy another colt right now.

I recently bought one from Tombstone tactical and found some cheaper the next day on GB....doh!!

Where are you finding yours for less that GB??
