A steel BP. low comb .300 H&H is one of the most miserable rifles on Earth to shoot from sandbags..
The homemade comb extension is hardly a factory innovation though..lol..

The homemade comb extension is hardly a factory innovation though..lol.. Agreed on both counts. I have seen a rifle or two treated like that. It isn't factory.
The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.
