I have been using the harness that came with one of my cheap deer stands for the past 2 years. Looking to upgrade to something a little better made. Any recommendations on something that has worked well in your experiences?

Muddy... works for me. Lots of options out there.

I use a Gorilla somethin'. Not saying it's the best, 'cause I don't know. It's good though. Easy to put on in camp under my jacket and has the right stuff.

thanks guys. I imagine there are multiple, multiple good ones. I just want to try and ensure the next one I buy isn't a "bad" one

I use one of the HSS hybrids, light, has pockets and a minimal full harness design

I use a Muddy. There are lots of good options out there. Just make sure you get a new one every five years from date of manufacture on the one you have or after ANY fall at all when it is put into play.

I've switched a bit from HSS to the Tree Spider line. I still use my HSS vests as back-ups and deer drag harnesses.
Both are excellent brands IMHO, the Tree Spider fits me a bit better for hot weather hunting here. I also like the bungee shock cord in the TS vest strap, the HSS vest straps are solid with no bounce.
