After trying to get Nosler 60 gr Partitions and 64 gr BSB to group accurately unsuccessfully I tried some 63 gr Sierra SMPs. In my Tikka T3 Lite .22-250 with a 1 - 14 twist they grouped in to a 1/2" for three shots. After reading the success hunters were having using them for deer and antelope I decided to use them for antelope but I would limit the shot distance to 200 yards. I located a herd of antelope with a mature buck in stalkable terrain. Then I crawled into range and waited for about 45 minutes until the buck gave me a shot. At the shot he reared up and went about 15 yards and folded up. I ranged the shot at 140 yards and the little bullet performed superbly. I was surprised at the damage done with a complete pass thru. Great little bullet IMO.

Need a de-coder.
Nut
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
As of last year 22 centerfires shooting a 60 gr. or higher is legal for deer and antelope in WY. This my second antelope with the .22-250. I shot one last year with 64 gr. Nosler BSB.

No that's a fact. When the regs are written as long as the tax code it is no wonder it can't be understood. People come into the local sports-archery shop , ask questions owner can't decipher (grey) area calls local conservation agent , he dosn't know, says he will call"Jeff City and get someone who dosn't have a clue" and get a message back in a couple days, that it is just left up to the judgement of the local agent. So if he's a good guy your cool if he's a P%*@k you are f%&ked. Really an agency with it's head firmly planted in anal outlet!!
Nice goat. Those high velocity .22's are plenty for game up to 250-300#. I have killed a bunch of critters with 22-250 and 60 grain Partitions, only animal that went over 25 yards was a liver shot doe that went maybe 100 yards and bled all the way. 70 grain Speers deadly in 223 or 22-250 as well.

The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!
Just for curiosity I ran your stats thru Quick Load. But note that I had to improvise a lot since I don't know if you used home made hand rolls ammo or factory. And I don't know the powders used.
From Lymans load book I used the data for a 22-250 Remington SAAMI,3 grain Sierra SP, IMR 4320 - 38.5 grains.
52,800 CUP
3480 fps.
From Quick Load
60,848 psi
3,445 fps.
So with variations we are in the ball park.
You said you had pass through. That's absolutely my philosophy.
Seem that you have a superlative combination. Congrats.
Just to chat a bit, I bought a Mauser barreled action 250-3000 but soon rechabered to 25-06 Neidner Wildcat. I took Muleys, Whitetail's everything up to moose with it.
