That there is one state in 50 that has already elected him into office speaks volumes of how [bleep] things are.

I am still shocked that we have a self-proclaimed socialist running for president. He is a pos and would have been tarred and feathered years ago. I would love to see the upper class leave the country and take their money with them if he were to get elected. I miss the days when socialism was a bad word.

Sanders is a collectivist. There are esoteric but inconsequential differences among fascists, communists & socialists. In practical terms, collectivists are socialists when out of power, fascists when they achieve governmental power - collaborating with the business class without seizing all productive private enterprises - and communists once they've consolidated their control of all the means of coercive repression, thereby enabling them to seize control of all means of production and forcibly abolish "class differences."

Academic discussions of specific definitions may prove intellectually stimulating but the only goal of all statist collectivists is the rule of a select elite and the oppression of all others, abolishing dissent.

We are very much closer to fascism now, with the alignment of the interestes of the State with those of the leaders of large business enterprises who are willing to collaborate to retain their profits than to a free enterprise, capitalist system of the type that enables truly representative governance by the consnt of the governed.
