Have an early Winchester Model 71-with a most unusual mount for the
existing Lyman Alaskan attached. It came to me so affixed.

It is very well made-all steel, with a rod affixed to the lever
from the mount base. Also allows iron sight viewing under the scope.
Great for older eyes or fog hunting in Alaska or the Northwest.

The Weathermatic was made in Detroit-but very few have heard of it and I
have only seen one-this rifle. Anyone know of the maker??
