Here is a bore scope that I have used for years. It's handy and easy to use.

I can't recall who made them. Perhaps someone can help?

That's not a borescope. Have you ever looked through a real borescope.

I know a Garand collector who has a complete, original, depot-level armorer's kit that includes a similar brass magnifier that was made for inspecting throat erosion.

I have one and it has a magnified lens in one end. The only thing marked is $28.95 on the plastic tube that it came in. Ain't a borescope, but it does allow a good throat inspection.

I've got one,....
Dick Trenk, during the period when he was running "The Pedersoli Challenge" at the Raton BPCR events, and working with the Italians on getting their product up to competitive standards, marketed them. Brass tube with a lens, and the 29.95 number that Butch calls out sounds about right.
As noted, just fine for throats and chambers.

There were made and sold by Wally Siebert from WA state. Back in the day, Wally was one of 2 or 3 folk authorized by Leupold to open up and modify their scopes. He was known for "boosting" Leupolds (and other brands) for the benchrest and silouette shooters.
