I need a take-off (shot out one is fine)barrel in 6.5. I want to chamber it for my 6.5x55 IMP so I can mount on my Remington 700 action for fire-forming a bunch of brass. Contact Terry at 406/381-3672 or trapperz_dadyahoo.com.

By time you've paid for a used barrel and had it installed you could pay for a hydroforming die from Hornady and save some trouble.

I have a 6.5 x 55 Kreiger heavy varmint take off sitting out in the garage that was on my F-class gun. Pay shipping and it's yours.

Was not aware anyone was offering such a service commercially. Seems to be a super option.

I had read where a machinist / gunsmith guy in Denmark had been doing pretty much exactly this to form 17 HH brass from 22 hornet when the 17 HH brass was in short supply. He seemed happy with his results.
