ET.
I have to ask. Could you clear this up me.
You say he shot the buff the the Sharps, but in the photo see him holding a bolt rifle with the Buffalo. In the other picture the sharps is over the buff's head with out him holding the sharps. Did he shoot the buff with the sharps or the bolt rifle??? please explain it.
If he did shot that buff with the .45-70 and black powder he has a set of baseballs fore sure in his under pants.

Groan!! I just don't understand this one. Standing over a great Buff with a rifle he did not use to bring him down with, especially a .45-70 sharps with a led bullet and black powder when the mind set is using a high end double using solid bullets.
But my hat is off to him for doing it.

Sharps Kurt.525g PP and 75g 3f. Bolt gun is the PH's Fine pic with deeply important connotations, ...e.g. "the back up rifle". Gotta' say there was a WTF moment,....I got pretty confused by the initial appearance of this one, too. Details on the back up rifle ? GTC

Kurt Relax, quit groaning. The PH should be holding the thing (after all, it's HIS rifle,)and some sorta' caption / qualifier re: WTF's up with THIS should have been attached,... but it's just a minor glitch, and shouldn't be any source of heartburn or unsettled bowels. GTC

The videogapher pulled these stills from the DVD he shot of the different animal hunts. Must be a beginner as he doesn't appear to have much sense of flow or content.

It's my 400, most likely just wiped it down with the oil rag and got called over for a quick pic, the sweat salt was flowing freely, kept both guns close the entire hunt.
Bad form I suppose on my part.

GEEEEZZZ, Gunner shot the buff TWICE with the Sharps killing it dead. So he had a back-up rifle along for the ride. It remained unemployed under it was Kudu time.
