In another conversation you mentioned "high math" and I asked how high. You said as high as I wanted to go. In response I asked a question which, in the context of that conversation, a person possessed of moderately advanced mathematical knowledge/training could easily answer immediately and in a casual fashion.
Your answer was not quickly forthcoming, was not correct, and in fact another poster noted your answer was pretty much what the first Google search result would reveal.
Instead of saying "I don't know" you took the bait and scrambled to Google. That put a ding on your credibility rating.
To bloviate is your modus operandi and you've been called on it numerous times. Your personal level of butthurt is running high. Yet you can't tear yourself away from all the mean old rubes around here.

What I can't understand is why these gullible kiss up's are so willing to fork over money for data that has been around for decades.

For you to insult Mr Barsness is nearly the ultimate in.... s--theadedeness. Do you read anything other than what you can find on the internet, in fora similar to this one? Do you read gun and reloading magazines? Do you somehow not realize that our fellow campfire attendee is considered by many in the industry, and by little dupes and rubes like his thousands of knowledgeable readers, to be an excellent example of a scribe recording for the present, and transmitting to future, generations the art and science of things ballistic? (OK all you gunwriter types, kick my a-- for such a run on sentence. I couldn't stop, the words and ideas were on a roll  ) In my previous responses to your posts, I have attempted to be polite, thinking perhaps you are old and of diminished mental capacity while still trying to remain relavent to the shooting community.
