Does the flutes not allow dirt to enter where it should not? I am thinking especially sandy areas where it might create some problems.

Have any of you guys had problems with fluted bolts and dirt?

Thanks

Pieter

No problems but only have 4 or 5 of them. Purely cosmetic and I'd go oversized bolt knob for the same money on one I was working on now.

Strictly for looks.

I don't do it, but have pards that have them. Don't seem to have any issues.

Did two when Chad had a group buy. Nice work, but pretty much a waste.

Thanks for the info. I have seen how sand and bolts do not go well together and thought this might just create extra problems.
