Have the Tikka T3 contour in there system? Looking to build a 280....

Hear Obermeyer is pretty quick lately Bartlein isn't....

I will start calling but figured I would ask...

I'm gonna say "Probably not." That's not say that there isn't a chance. Tikka T-3 barrel profiles/contours may take a while to sneak onto, and up the list. Most of the barrel makers I've had contact with are doing everything they can to keep up with the demand for existing contour/bore/twist configurations.

Now, if you offered up your take-off barrel as a pattern that could be 'traced', you might be in luck. Order a 100 and you'd probably get some priority <grin>. I'd say you'd still be looking at a lengthy wait time, either way.

I will keep looking for a 700 sporter to compare.

Brux, Obermeyer, Bartlein, Kreiger, Rock are all on the list

The smallest contour Krieger will turn in stainless in .284 is a #4.5.

A Krieger Tikka T3 contour duplicate in stainless is out of the question.

Of those on that list, Rock is probably the only one that will make a contour as light as the T3 in stainless. Pac-Nor, Hart, and Lilja would but they're not in Wisconsin.
