Recipient,

Thank you for your interest in the ALPS OutdoorZ Extreme products that you saw on display at the 2015 SHOT Show. You will find detailed information below regarding the two packs from our new Extreme line that were on display at the show; the Traverse X and the Crossfire X. Traverse X

The award-winning, backcountry-ready Traverse X pack from ALPS OutdoorZ has received praise from hunters for its ability to perform as an essential piece of hunting gear. Whether it's carrying gear up the mountain to your hunting destination or packing meat back out to the truck, the Traverse X delivers. The Traverse X features comfortable Lycra shoulder straps, a molded foam back panel and waist belt, durable Hypalon and 1680d ballistic nylon, and dual aluminum stays. The Traverse X gives hunters the strength, reliability and versatility they need to successfully transport their gear and harvest out of the backcountry. The editors at Petersen's Hunting magazine had the following to say about the Traverse X:

"The toughest part of selecting a backcountry pack is finding one that's not too bulky for a day in the field while providing enough room to haul a load of meat back to the trailhead. The 2,900-cubic-inch Traverse X covers both duties in a smart pack designed by hunters. Built of bullhide-tough 1,680-denier nylon with Hypalon accents at all stress points, it won't fail under heavy loads. Wing pockets are fleece lined to protect optics and feature mesh pouches to secure tripods and shooting sticks. Once a hunter's hands are bloody, a meat shelf pulls out the bottom of the pack to secure a quarter or a meat bag for the pack out." - Petersen's Hunting Editorial Staff

Crossfire X

The Crossfire X is the perfect solution for the hunter that is looking for a single pack for multiple uses. It is just as at home in turkey woods as it is in the deer stand. The 2325 cubic inch workhorse has a vented back panel, Lycra shoulder straps and punched molded foam waist belt for maximum airflow and comfort. Not only is the Crossfire comfortable but it can also handle the abuse of the most demanding hunters. 1680D ballistic nylon and Hypalon at stress points ensure the comfortable carry is accompanied with strong components to get the job done. The defining feature of the Crossfire X is the removable accessory pocket, which can be used in 3 different positions. It can be buckled to the rear of the pack, attached on the front shoulder straps, or used without the pack by its own strap. So if there is a need to ditch the pack the accessory pocket can be worn independently allowing you to keep your essential gear you need with you without having the entire pack. This is also a big advantage while sitting in either a deer stand or the turkey chair. Other notable features are the gun/bow carrying system, hydration pocket and port, included rain cover, along with lower mesh pockets and bottom and side compression straps.
