For what its worth, my experience with Truelok rings and bases is that they position the scope fairly high. Was thinking of topping it with a pre-Permacenter Lyman All American 4X with Tru Lock bases and mounts, but if it was never scoped I might keep it that way and shoot with the factory irons.
