Got up to our spot in the foothills to celebrate a few brothers birthdays the best way we know... Plenty of good food and drink around the fire and a whole lotta flying brass! It's a smaller piece of property so .22's only and that works out just fine. Bowls of loudmouth soup served here.. I got a rare quiet moment on the firing line.. Annie games were being played and the bragging was fierce Few of the other rifles that got plenty of attention as well..
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...? She's gone shootin..

Good golly you guys sure went thru the RF ammo, that's some fine looking firearms but you had a great time. I get to the range once or twice a week now that I'm retired, always take a couple of .22's along with whatever else I'm shooting.

Looks like a great time. Too bad somebody had to go and spoil it with that crappy light beer.😜
Gotta ask; is that Costco gin on the right?

Now that looks like a helluva good time! I love the pic of the grill running some chicken in the background.

Gotta ask; is that Costco gin on the right? Pappy, I get lotsa grief for my uppity taste in beer but my frugal ways with the brews allow me to dabble in the finer rimfires And yes it is Costco gin..not bad at all but a little more fruity tasting. My money goes to beefeater every time

My money goes to beefeater every time When I used to drink gin, Tanqueray was the stuff. Didn't take me too long to figure out I wasn't cut out to be a drinker, so my alcohol budget doesn't cut into my shooting budget too much. Costcos around here only sell beer and wine, so I was a little surprised to see the fuzzy Kirkland's logo in your picture. Can't stomach light beer though. I like stuff that's a bit chewier. Lately that's been Newcastle Brown Ale. Besides taste, beer has to be available at Food Lion, the closest store. Did you do a total round count?

Dang, I didn't know they still made that wonderful stuff. I'll have to mention it to my wine steward at Food Lion.

Can't do that one. Mama told me to never drink anything containing cocoa nibs.

Well to be honest I couldn't taste the cocoa nibs nor the pomegranate molasses. I could taste the beer flavor and the %50 that was aged in whisky barrels really came through.
At %11.7 it was a good breakfast
