Attached an image captured yesterday. Seems to be the year of the rabbit around Burns/Hines, Or. This is one of about 10 cottontails frequenting our yard each morning and evening and is known as the Doug Fir Bunny. Seems each has a favored location where it likes to sit and forage. Over the summer they've settled considerably and will let one approach to within 10 feet or so. Lighting was slightly better as we were pulling into the driveway with the low sun touching about ½ of its body. By the time we retrieved a camera and returned, however, only about half of the face was illuminated. Still like the image and thought it might brighten ones day. Might make a nice card or something.
