Anybody in here fool with these? I am a BRNO rifle fan, and I haven't made it past owing a remington 870 in the shotgun category. But I was considering adding a decent shotgun to my safe and thinking it might be neat to stay with a brand I already collect. I have handled a BRNO over under, it felt very chunky, although I do like the barrel switching versatility idea of the BRNO over under, but probably not enough to settle for a gun that didn't feel light and handy. So I am wondering about the BRNO SxSs. Any advice?

Thanks, Pete

From what I've read they are a simple but very solid side lock. There are a number of them out there at very reasonable prices.

I just purchased a BRNO O/U combo gun 22HP/12ga and hope to blood it on a coyote tomorrow.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I have had this 16 gauge BRNO sidelock for many years and among my eight SxS's it would be very near the last to leave. It came choked more than full/full. It has since been opened up to .005"/.015" and is a killing machine, at least when I am...

I have a ZP-47, 12 ga. 2.75" 28" IC/M sidelock, extractor, no engraving. Very solid gun and quite good handling. I sold my Rem 870 pump after acquiring it and don't miss the pump. Most of the ones I've seen are full / IM or full/full, and usually pistol grip with cheek piece. Mine is like the 16 ga. pictured above, and straight grip which I prefer. If you can pick one up for under $500 it would be competitively priced, and would be a good value even if priced a couple hundred higher.
