I told her her wedding/Christmas gift would be new furniture, so today we went and picked it out and I paid for it.
On the way home we stopped at dicks sporting goods because she wanted to get a winter coat for the baby. Upon entering the store I told her I was headed to the sporting goods dept.
I was ogling a Benelli, Monte in 20 Guage, and trying to justify the money for a gun that only see infrequent use, so I asked to see the little imported auto 20 next to it and was handling it when my wife showed up, and asked the price, I said 319, she said go ahead and get it and I'll pay you back and that can mlbe my wedding gift to you
It's a Turkish made semi, with very nice wood and points great

She was before this...our first year together she bought me an SBE2
I've researched this gun a bit, and apperently they are pretty reliable guns and the importer does a great job standing behind any issues with them.
It points like a dream, I can't wait to get in the grouse woods with it
