very cool, and very different from the hill country of the Murray/Darling drainage i got to explore a little bit outside of Adelaide.....hope like hell i get to pay you a visit in about a year....

It's clear to me now why a "ranch" or "cattle" operation would need to cover a couple million acres. I grew up thinking one per acre was normal, an acre there wouldn't feed much.

How long to round up? or is there even a reason to? Put out some sweet feed and whistle & they come running?

Great photos. Lots of country to explore and hunt. Nice family. I see your son is properly dressed. Our American children could use some exposure to being properly dressed as well. On the list of places to travel too.

yeah you still round them up for marking , to sort and sell as per every other farm. We trap them on dams if we can and use helicopters a lot as well
