The shoot well in my 338 Fed. Tested a couple into damp magazines and they penetrate really well. Retain weight better than the AB in my couple data points. Really wish I could buy the bullets to reload.

I too wish those bullets were sold as reloading items.
Along with the RWS H-mantle bullets....I would like to try some handloads with both.
Do the companies think everyone reloads and nobody will buy their factory ammo?

I've used it in my 308. Shoots MOA @ 100 yards from my Ruger. I was using the 165gn high energy load, P308TT4. I was very pleased as it chroned at 2840 fps from my 22" factory Ruger barrel. Looks like they have stopped making the high energy load, I can't find it anywhere.

I've used older Federal Throphy Bonded on one old desert mulie. Worked beautifully with very little meat loss.
My M70 Classic in .308 never did shoot the factory ammo better than 2.5 MOA. So, I pulled the bullets and found a load with 44 grs. of Varget which would hold just over MOA.
Had the same experiences with the Trophy Bonded Tipped. But when I tried reload them, I couldn't get the slick, nickel plated bullets to stay put in the cases.
I also tried the same load, with 180 gr. bullets in my '06'. In that rifle, they would easily shoot MOA. Go figure. E
