I am considering having a rifle converted to 26 Nosler. I have little to no idea what rifle would be the easiest/cheapest way to go to rebarrel with minor bolt work. I appreciate any help you could provide. FWIW, I have a Rem Model 7 CDL in .260 that I could use or maybe pick up a Savage for use. Thanks,

You're going to need a long action, for starters.

Also, this is for hunting only.

Take a look at the thread I started in the Custom Rifle section regarding going from 300WM to 28 Nosler. Lots of good advise was given to me there.
