My brother and I have Tikka T3 Lite ss rifles chambered for 7mm Rem Mag. My brother likes the BC of the NABLR and wants me to work up a load for him using the 168 or 175, whichever has the best accuracy.
I've read about inconsistent bullet performance, particularly at closer ranges. I know the bullets were developed for long range applications, but you never know when that bull is going to step out at 80 yards.
I also have 160 NAB as well as 160 Partitions. I prefer the standard models but then again I'm not good enough to shoot past 400 yards.
My brother's rifle really likes the HSM factory stuff loaded with 180 gr Bergers but they only do about 2750 MV.
So what kind of experience does the forum have with the NABLR?

Nothing but positive results. Shooting a 280 AI with a 150 grain LRAB. my statistical data comes from.a sample of three bang flops. Two nice does and one 200 + # boar.
Good bullet, accurate too in my Jarrett.

I've killed 6 midwestern whitetails with the 150gr version from my 7mm-08 Ackley @2875fps. Ranges were 30yds to 310. All have been exits with very little to no blood trailing involved.
From what I have read in Litz's testing, the BC of the 168 is just about spot on and the 175 is exaggerated. Can't remember the exact numbers but I think the 175 was just a few points ahead of the 168. I'll be focusing on the 168's with my recently finished long range hunter (7mm SAUM).
All that being said, here is a test I did with the 7mm-08 AI and 150's at PBR....

With a muzzle velocity of 2875fps this would equate to 100yrd impact velocities for the 7mm Rem Mag with 168's. I would have no problem using that combo on any of North Americas hoofed animals...
