I hadn't seen a 2015 compilation thread for everybody to post a quick pic and story on their punched tags. If I've missed it, my apologies for a duplicate.

I'll start out. First up my son's buck. Passed on him during the youth season, but regretted it after seeing the one funky tine. Found him again opening weekend and he made a good shot. Remington 700 sps youth, 243, 95 gr BT, 150 yards, pass through the lungs. He trotted 20-30 yards and expired. Also smoked the dog during the youth hunt. Same gun, 200 yards through the lungs as well, DRT.

Next, my buck. Old Remington 700 BDL, 30-06, 165 gr Hornady sp. First shot 275-300ish. Not sure. Broke the shoulder low, passed through but missed the heart. Second shot length of the body, in the culo, broke offside shoulder. Got 2 dogs prior in the day. Was a fun season!

Thanks man, will do!

Yeah, they just started the other day around here from I was seeing. But this dude was all by his lonesome. Passed on one similar to him the morning prior. Was kicking myself for almost 2 days. My BFF got a magic watch that tracks how far you walk, etc. Didn't feel like so much of a puzzy after seeing the data lol.

I haven't even really been out buck hunting yet but heard mulies were just starting.

Too frikken warm here today though, good fishing weather but I'm waiting until maybe Thursday to look around for a mule deer. That or slum a whitetail later on.

I hear you on the walking, takes a lot of looking to find a nice buck like you got!

Nice deer. Judging from the smile on the boy's face and the animals he's putting on the ground, you are raising him right. Keep up the good work.

Nice deer for sure BGG. The boy looks to be mighty happy as well. That's good stuff for sure.

I've taken a bull, buck mule deer, buck antelope and two doe antelope in Wyoming so far this year. I have been hunting mulies hard here in the Bitterroot the last week, seeing only 2x2s and such. Today is the last day for mulies around here, so if a spike shown himself this evening, he's going down.

Not really big game, but I knocked the hell out of the sage-grouse this year

A Bitterroot mulie I was within 5 yards of the other day. If he shows himself this evening he will die

I failed to kill a Himalayan Snowcock (though my hunting partner got one) in Nevada. They're not big game but the country they live in puts Mountain Goats to shame.

I also killed some big game in NZ last March. It was a grand time.

Congrats BGG and Son!

Your boy looks like one happy hunter. Good shooting on both animals and tell him double good on the coyote.

Nothing like being along watching your own do it...

Well done!
