I spent the weekend kayaking and camping in Central Florida. One of the fellows that went, started making knives a couple of years ago. He brought several to show, and one had some very nice Bocote Wood on it. As some know, I am a slut for that stuff.
4 inch blade, D2 steel. Came hair popping sharp. Decent sheath. $125 for the price. I thought that was a steal. The blade is so highly polished, that it was darn hard to get a picture.
Dave is a retired Submarine CPO, and one heck of a nice guy. His makers mark is "Crashblades"

from now on, I promise to not show, or talk about any knife other than one made by the acceptable knife makers here.

Not sure why Sam, looks like a good lookin' blade to me. Bocote is pretty stuff

Bocote is some nice stuff. I really like to match it with brass when possible.

What's Dave's last name? I'm a submariner as well. Long shot, but curious if I knew him.
