I built a 300 blackout earlier this year. Not having much luck with factory ammo. I want to shoot a good subsonic load maybe in the 208gr A-Max and I would also like to shoot something in the 110 grain range. Wondered if I could hear from those that have experience in loading for this cartridge. What powders, primers, etc as well as what accuracy your getting. Mine is shooting about 3 MOA right now with the 210 Remington and the 110 Nosler factory. I don't expect a sub MOA from what I have been reading but it has to be better than this.

Mine does well with 110's and 125's with pp300mp. For 208 amaxes subsonic I've been using old data powder 2200 I bought cheap about 15 years ago. I've been able to get moa or better with all 3 bullets.

as I chase ultimate sub sonic quiet load, I end up at 3 moa amazingly....

Borderline its ok, 1.5 or so MOA. But I'm stuck on a purpose built bullet and with a can, have a certain thing in mind.

Subs with 240 SMKs are fine and around MOA.

Still looking for the right answers but 1680 is supposed to be it in the AR. I have a bolt gun, and its louder than I desire as a powder to be with a can...

As long as the bullets are pointy, you can also run them at mag length in the AR - ~2.24" OAL, longer than the 2.08" that is often recommended. I found that will help some guns shoot better, and functioning was unaffected.

I've got two bolt guns and a single shot, only worked with one of the bolts so far. I tried several powders; W231, bullseye, trailboss, H2400, aa 1680, imr 4227, power pistol, a5744, imr 4198 & lil gun. Shooting 220 subsonics suppressed I compared the level of noise; W231 & trail boss were the quietest. I like trailboss but have to weigh each charge to get the best accuracy.

I plan on putting together an AR-15 in 300 BO and everything I have read (so far) has stated that 1680 is the powder for a gas gun. You might look at the hand loading section in 300botalk, some good info there.

Bearstalker,

If you're talking subsonic; 8.5 grains/Lil Gun gave me 1033 fps with 220 grainers (again in a bolt gun).

Lil'Gun works for subsonics in some ARs, depends how your gas system is tuned. Mine will run with Lil'Gun and jacketed bullets, but not cast, need 1680 for those.

Lil'Gun is one of the best for 110-125gr supersonic loads; good velocity and less blast than H110/296.

Rost did you ever figure out a Bullseye load for that? I found my data the other day for the 200gr Speer SP and Bullseye, and loaded some more. Don't remember the charge right now but can look if you want.
