Salvage put Accu-triggers on some rim fires and most center fires. Feels like the same POS on both.

Whittaker is generally the best place to get CZ rifles, which are my sweet spot for quality/workmanship/price.

Google "PMTJ" - poor man's trigger job - and you'll find lots of helpful info.

The Ace #144 spring is now available at most of the Sears Hardware stores around here.

CZs are great - I have a CZ 453 - but the trigger is not the same as the centerfire bolt action triggers that I have experience with.

For those asking about what is different about the "feel," the CZ 453 rimfire trigger is much narrower and has more side-to-side play than the triggers on centerfire rifles such as Rem 700, Sav 110, Ruger, etc. Some of my centerfire triggers have practically no side-to-side play. Like a lot of parts of rimfire rifles, the trigger and trigger mechanism appear to be scaled down, and as a result, the feel when pulling the trigger is different even though the pull weight is similar.

My Rem 541T trigger is just like a 700 trigger right down to the 3 adjusting screws.

Too close for irons, switching to scope...

Ruger 77/22

As the others have said, it sucks right out of the box...so it is exactly like their centerfires. It's easily fixed though.

Blaser R93 with rimfire kit. Same trigger as centerfire as it uses the same stock and fire control system.

My .22 has one of the three best triggers on rifles that I have. Thay are a kimber 84m Montana (stock), a kimber of Oregon 82 .22 hornet (stock) and my ruger 77/22 (modified). Had a firing pin replaced in the 77/22 in 1988, gunsmith did a "trigger job" while he had it for a few more $$. Ended up with a very good trigger, but have to warn anyone else that shoots it because they don't expect a light crisp trigger on a 77/22!
