I've stumbled into a last minute landowner tag for the muzzleloader hunt in this area. Anyone familiar with it?

Thanks, Jim

Got a buddy who hunted it and got a nice bull one year, struck out the next time he drew it. He was competing morning, noon and night with the clowns from USO outfitters and they ruined his second hunt.

Thanks, I'm fortunate to be hunting with a guy that knows the area. Sounds like some good bulls come out of there.

You know, something that looks like 340-350 but measures bigger? (inside joke, hehe).

Haha a lot bigger?
Taxidermist was questioning it - thought it might be on the low side.

Big bulls, low numbers, those who do well spend a lot of time down there. Good luck and it is nice country.

Now we're talking! Tim put 3 rapid shots all in the kill zone on this bull @ 268yds IIRC. Dude gets serious when he shoots!

Oh you are too much- three lucky shots!
Have you had any luck in New Mexico?
Wish I had gotten those pictures with your lucky tweezers and the cactus in the rear!

I wouldn't pull cactus spines out my own brothers' butt, I would for Walt.

We did see some good bulls in NM, but couldn't close the distance for muzzleloader range. A great hunt none the less!
