I've been buying those socks for years, and they're one of the best deals going. Right up there with $28 Buck 110s.

I have a big pile of them in my closet that haven't even been worn yet because the first batch (20 pairs) I bought about 5 years ago are still going strong.

I've lost a few to holes in the toes due to inattentive toenail clipping, but I wear them everyday. I buy a couple or three packs every fall when I do my semi-annual shopping in the late fall.

I have maybe 10 pairs of cotton socks. They are worn in the house only.

I've use these for hunting and hiking. Very good value and a good height for my boots. They are very comfortable and good cushion on the bottom. The thing I love the most is once you have them on, they don't move - very little chance of rubbing and blisters, even with a new boot.

Yup, COSTCO will have some great prices if you are vigilant. Of course none of it is made in the USA but what else is new?

As far as clothing and textiles go, the USA lost that struggle to "free trade" decades ago. Some would say they like the prices, but it certainly has had an impact on domestic employment. frown

Sorry to be a buzz-killer, but the socks under discussion are made right here in 'Merica.

I'd love to shop at Costco. The no weapons sign in the front door keeps me from patronizing killing zones.

Signs? Please. The first "C" stands for concealed.

Worked good for the Vet in Vegas that printed and was shot to death on the way out by two eager beaver rookie cops.

hope you weren't going barefooted in your snowmobile boots back there in No MN as a kid....

my ex wife was from Chisholm... she was so lazy, that she use to walk out to the mail box barefooted thru the snow.. said it never bothered her... but she turned out to be part Walrus anyway.....

on the socks, stopped by Costco after the movies tonight and even tho they were closing in like 10 minutes, had the time to buy me a packs of 4......

since you guys talked them up so well....
