I have a browning 71 in 348 Winchester. I found a load that is deadly accurate but my rear peep (Williams) can NOT go low enough so the load shoots high. Can someone tell me what the factory front sight height is so I can buy a taller one? Here is a picture of my setup.
I have used a Browning 71 rifle and a Williams FP with no problem using 210 grain bullets. What is your load?
The picture you show has the barrel rear sight still attached? That rear sight would have to be removed to properly use the receiver sight. Maybe your picture is for illustration only.
