I ordered both of these at the beginning of the year hoping to have the gun up and running for this years hunts. One thing lead to another and the components took way longer than expected.

My intentions were to build a properly throated 7SAUM.

Without even building what I initially had in mind I lost interest in it. Too much time on the forums lead me to thinking that I need something bigger and badder.

That being said I am still up in the air about selling everything. This Defiance Deviant Hunter is by far the nicest, cleanest, smoothest, sexiest action that I have ever laid eyes on. It is a work of art.

I will be replacing it with a different one in a slightly different configuration.

The Manners stock that I have ordered for it will be ready in the next few days. Here are the details:

Manners MCS-TA Stock

-Elite Tactical Shell
-Adjustable LRI Titanium Hardware for the cheekpiece.
-2 Front studs, 1 rear
-2 Flush Cups opposite side of bolt.
-Camo is Elite Tactical Midnight Molded
-1" Pachmayr Recoil Pad

-This stock according to Manners Spec sheet should come in at 2.75 Lbs. The MCS-T is one of their best stocks. It is very comfortable to shoot prone or standing. It is a great dual purpose long-range/hunting stock.

The camo is molded in to the stock. The Elite Tac Camo lets the carbon fiber show IMO its the nicest/cleanest pattern that is offered. I don't have the stock in hand, but will shortly. The picture that I will include is another stock that I own with the same camo.

This is what I have into it minus my shipping costs. I will need to ship to an FFL so make sure that they will accept from an individual.

Was the action bead blasted or refinished ? Looks like a nice dull satin finish.

Yes I had it bead blasted with a fine grit. Its a has a very nice satin finish. Not too rough, not too shiny.

The come pretty polished from Defiance. I guess they do that in case you want to shine them up for a comp rifle or something

What barrel inlet is the stock?

I originally told them to inlet for a Proof Research Sendero contour.
I sent them an email today asking them to hold off. I was going to call them in the morning and have them put a hold on the barrel inlet until I got this sold.

That way it won't limit the options of the buyer. The Proof is a fairly heavy profile but there are a bunch of contours that would work very well in that inlet
