Does anyone have one of these?
I like the built in bipod and 40 round magazine but they are a little bulky with the heavy barrel.

I had a Romanian RPK I took in on a trade once. It was as rough as a corn cob and didn't stay in the safe for very long. I personally couldn't grasp the concept. It was heavier and more cumbersome than a regular AK and not any more accurate.

Have you looked at the Romanian PSL's. Those are reasonably accurate, reliable and built to take a beating. I had one that would shoot the occasional MOA group. Not a tac driver by any means but accurate enough to keep things interesting. I hadn't checked the price lately but the use to be pretty reasonable.

I'd rather have an RPD.

My experience is the same. Heavy but no more accurate.

Nice Mackay! Seems very controllable at that weight.

They are more useful as a squad machine gun.
I had hoped it would be accurate.

The longer sight radius helps a bit. They are quite controllable on short bursts (as are most MGs). The key is stance, and trigger control.

I would have no issue running one as a SHTF weapon. While I would prefer a Recce type rifle of some sort, normally it comes down to skill sets.

I put a low powered scope on mine.
A case of Wolf ammo and I should be ready for zombie apocalypse.

Hmm...I don't care how good the Indian is, a Red Ryder ain't gonna do it, so he best have a decent arrow too.

if that is your choice then just stay with it, my opinion only but you want to be familiar with the manual of arms at a subliminal level or your zombie food.
