I have to leave for work until the 7th, so can't put anything in the mail until then.

Arright, I'm back home on Monday if deals can get made.
NEW PRICING:
The TI barreled action now $1300. As pictured with KS SA stock, talleys and leupold compact 6x, weight is 6lb 4oz.
The Winchester barreled action is $800 with dies and brass, $1000 if you want the stock (Bansner, was cracked forward of the action on top on both sides, I ground out the cracks, tapered the grinding back to the outer surface, and repaired with layers of cloth and epoxy, now strong and stiff as before). Weight as pictured with talleys and 6x36 leupold is less than 7.5 lbs IIRC.

Is the barrel on the 25-284 stainless or CM??
And does the 25-284 barreled action include the mag box, follower, screws, and T/G?

It's on a stainless barrel. It's good to go, trust me. Very accurate.

For either one, all you need to provide is the stock...

Back to the top. The stock presently on the TI is a McMillan KS short action ADL. I'd let it go with the rifle and dies and brass for $1600 total.

Paint rub is cosmetic, where it rubbed against my packframe when strapped to it. Action and shank are bedded, barrel is floated.

Some doubt has been cast about the pedigree of the 25/284 stock. It has a factory remington pad (1/2" thick) and weighs 24.3 oz. It has no cheekpiece, which per one PM to me, may rule it out as being a KS.
Regardless, it is svelte, has a high comb with no cheekpiece, doesn't weigh very much, is stiff and solid, and the pad was installed by remington and reads "remington" in large letters with "pad made in usa by pachmayr" in tiny near-unreadable print underneath.

Agree with Jim. Not a KS.
