What is the best type of primer to use with Hodgdon Pyrodex pellets?

I always used a standard Winchester 209 and never had a problem. Not sure about "best."

Not sure what is legal where you hunt. We cannot use primers in WA.
So I like musket caps with pyrodex pellets.

+3 Any 209 will work fine I'd stay away from the ones made specifically to use with Triple7 powder.

They are a lower powered primer, not to mention the ass rape factor.
