I have Lyman Mini Sharps in 38-55 and some 270grain round nose jacketed bullets. Anyone have a load for this combo?

Thanks

That bullet is designed for the .375 H&H Magnum with a very thick jacket. Don't expect any expansion but do expect higher pressures due to the long bullet. If that's all you have then I guess you could try it but I have no reliable data. The Sierra 200 and Hornady 220 are more appropriate with plenty of reliable data.

Thanks. Been looking for Hornady 220's for months, none to be found around here. Expansion is not needed as I usually shoot hard cast that when recovered can be reloaded
