I love this revolver but the grip shape and I don't get along very well, so I am selling it on. This is a Model 97 chambered in 357 Mag. It has a 4-1/4" octagon barrel and black micarta grips. I bought the revolver used several years ago, have shot it off and on and it shoots fine. The PO shot it some as well. Condition is mint. Locks up like a bank vault. If you've handled one of these, you know what I mean. In the box with papers. Looking for $1600 shipped.....

Possibly, but have a strong preference for cash. I am looking for a good S&W Model 27 (4" or 5") or an 1885 in 22 Hornet.

Curious if that is a 5 or 6 shot. I thought the 97's were 6 shot.

FA site says the 357's are 6-shot.

It's a 6 shot. 44's and 45's are 5 shot....

So far as I know, yes. It was in the box with the revolver.

Apparently I priced this too low. Ah well, such is life. Perhaps I will make it back on the next gun I buy.
