Would like to sell this to someone on this forum before I post it in classifieds. My gunsmith was putting this on a standard 06 but has talked me into going with a McMill. 110.00 shipped to lower 48. Ricky [Linked Image]

What is the difference between a pre-64 and a classic in terms of the stock inletting? I have a couple of pre-64s, but neither of them needs a stock. On the other hand, I have a couple of classics that might. Question is: will it fit? Also, how much does it weigh?

The long action post 64 action screw spacing is 7.625", the pre 64 model 70 spacing is 7.45". I've put a pre 64 model 70 into a post 64 stock, but would not recommend doing it the other way around. You would end up with gaps at the trigger guard inletting or floor plate inletting and tang...

Three most useless things to a pilot are:
1. The altitude above you
