Pretty much set on buying one of these right after the new year. Draw length is 29" and probably will shoot the tribute at 68lbs. I will be shooting fingers with this bow, and have a couple dozen beman ics hunter 400 arrows. Will the 400's be okay or will I have to go with 340's? Arrows will be 30" and have 4" vanes. I know that I can figure this out on my own thru trial and error, but I just don't want to buy arrows if I don't need them. And it is hard to find 4" vane arrows anyways with the blazer craze. This bow will be for hunting deer at 40yds or less. I would greatly appreciate some advice on this.

Pretty sure you will need 340's at a minimum with that draw weight and length of arrow. Might even have to try 300's. I shot carbons and finger release out of an older PSE couple years ago. I used 300's @ 31", somewhere around 65#. They flew very well, but I switched back to aluminum.

Good luck on the bow, they are nice but pricey. Let me know how you will like it.

Back it down a few turns and shoot the 400's. Come hunting season you may need some new arrows.

should always use 340 shafts more durable but why use 4 inch vanes ? if I was shooting fingers I would use feathers and water-proof treat them.its really hard now days to find a good finger bow anymore. I still like aluminums to hunt with I do shoot a release now for deer hunting I use 2219`s with a elmer 100 gr. expandable 2 inch vanes at 55 lbs. this is a very quiet setup and speed for close range deer does not matter but noise sure does. wish you great luck !
