Very well made.
SKB made a lot of shotguns for Ithaca, and a lot were imported under the SKB name.
A quick search shows 800-1400 for 20 ga., couldn't find many 12's.
I've got a 585 which I really like.

I found a 12 on gun auction that sold for $675. I use to grouse hunt with an old man years ago that used a 680 in a 20 gauge and that was a sweet little shotgun. Like what was said already, they are very well made.

I saw one that sold in March of this year on "invaluable" web site, an auction site that came up with a google search. It was in real nice shape and sold for $550. I have one and mine isn't in as good of shape but I wouldn't sell mine for that. They are a nice handling gun.
Good luck

I wouldn't ask less than $1,100-$1,200 for it, if it's in great shape. If it has 26" barrels, which were popular at that time, then maybe $950-$1,050. Longer barrels and more open chokes (if fixed) are what's hot these days.

I wouldn't pay that price when I can get a nice Red label or Citori with screw in chokes for around the same price. $600-$750 is a fair price range depending on condition. I think it would be a hard sale even at that. Just my opinion.

While I agree that fixed chokes are undesirable for the shotgun games, not a problem for hunting.
SKB's are twice the gun, quality wise, of the Red Label.
My opinion, worth what you paid for it...

As folks have said the SKB sxs are very nice guns and the 680 English is one of the higher grade models. They represent the best value out there in sxs guns IMHO. the issue you may face as you didn't give many specs is most of the English models came with 26" bbls which were in vogue at the time they were made. Today the pendulum has swung back to longer bbls so this along with the fixed chokes will scare off some buyers and worse expose you to tire kickers who will ask you 100 questions then give you the old well if it had longer barrels song and dance. Never the less a 12 ga should bring $700-$900 with a 20 ga about $200 more longer barrels would bring $250 more. Be patient and some savy old grouse hunter will turn up and buy that nice shotgun.

Thanks for the info guys. It has 28in barrels and full and mod chokes. I use Spred-R shells on my tighter choked doubles and they work fine. I've never hunted where I needed steel shot and that would not allow me to use my old doubles. Bill.
