Came across a post on another website where a fellow was having a rifle built with one of this actions, he was planning on a short action Ti. They sort of look like a Stiller but are built in Utah, appear to be pretty slick and price is decent. Anybody have any info or seen one in use?? Link below:

My questions are: what does it weigh? Is a Ti recoil lug available? Extra weight of a screw on knob?
I don't know who has built one and can't comment on how well they work. I'm a firm believer that a light firing pin is a detriment.

Thanks for the link - looks like they are a pretty new outfit?? And per that thread appears the short action Ti weighs 19 ozs and long is 22 ozs so pretty lightweight.

Wondering who the guys are building these - anybody know their history or where they started??

Probably what I'd use if I were building a custom.

My long action Pierce with complete bolt and recoil lug weighs 22oz. John has been building actions for several years and does have a history of real quality work.The price is $1335 for a short action or $1385 for a long action.
Pierce says their SA weighs 18.5 and long action of 20.8. About right as my recoil lug is a little over 1oz.
John shoots BR, long range, and FClass.
