Anyone?

I just like damn near Ruger anything.

Thoughts on their air rifles?

Thanks

Bought a couple a few years ago. Chinese crap with a Ruger stamp on them. I gifted them to a couple needy boys but don't know if I did them any favor.

I agree. Don't let the "Ruger" on the rifle full you.

Same as Remington and a few others - just rebadged Chinese junk being sold under a name that folks associate quality with. Too bad it actually works.

Maybe most of the time. I had a Chinese Crossman NP replaced twice before a tin of pellets had been put through it. The second replacement still sits unopened in the box, nephew lost interest.

Son has a Ruger Air Hawk (495 fps version) and I have to say that I am impressed with it's accuracy. It came with the scope as well. He's taken gophers with it, magpies, and killed a lot of pop cans with it. My only complaint is the weight of them. His is over 8 lbs which makes freehand shots difficult. It was on a good sale for under $100 (Canadian) with the scope and I feel that it was work the money.

Was referring to the marketing scheme working, not the guns.......that said for the guy that shoots a dozen shots per year, they are probably fine. If you put a couple thousand pellets a year through one then you should probably look elsewhere (like Beeman R-Series Rifles)
