This is one of the limited Model 94 commemoratives made in 1994 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Model 94 Winchester levergun. This one remains NIB. This rifle features a 26" barrel octagonal to round, a crescent steel buttplate, upgraded wood, and buckhorn sights. Not many of these left in unfired condition. One of Winchester's better commemoratives, IMHO. Cabelas has a used one for $1,450. All are 30-30.
I have it listed on Guns Intl for $1,295, yours for $995 + $25 shipping
Yes, that was my plan...woods hunting the old fashioned way with open sights. But I found a Browning repro of the Winchester 1895 in 30-40 Krag with Skinner sights that I started using. No sense in having 2.
