Our group killed 48 pigs though, despite the weather etc, so everybody got some good trigger time. A few yotes bit the dust too.

So how does a pig behind a "fence" give you the slip?? wink

I don't have any pdogs or hogs to shoot around here but I finally found something to burn with my new fireball. It was only about 100yrds but starlings are frigidity little targets! The 25grHP made a 10' debris field out of him

They pulled blue bird chicks out of the house and killed them......they crossed the line.....they had to pay

I shot that one with a factory Rem. 25gr HP. I picked up a 50rd box at a gun show mainly for the brass but they shoot very well in the rifle. I loaded some 20gr V-max too but so far, I've just shot paper with them.

Thanks Wyo, we don't get too many opportunities, starlings are smart and they've learned not to land within 150yrds of our house!

Mtcur, nice headshot with the smoke pole!

Yea....that would do it for me too if we had Blue Birds....

There wasn't any brass available when I built my FB so I had to buy 100 rounds of factory (20 grainers IIRC) to get the brass....they shot good in my gun too....

Wow, as a matter of fact, that is my great aunt Regina from over by the Musselshell around 1902. That is a Hepburn that my great grandfather had around the homestead. He came to Montana in the 1890's to work on the northern railroad when they were building the tracks along the high line through Montana!
