In reading Ralph Young's Grizzlies Don't Come Easy, I got interested in his mention of Allen Hasselborg. I found very limited information about him on the net, but did find this one book about him, wondered if any of you had read it? I'll probably get a copy, seems like an interesting read.

Fantastic book!

Try My Lost Wilderness by Young also.

Alaska's Wolf Man
One thing after another by Jensen
Trail of the eagle
Alaska game trails by Keim
Fair chase with Alaskan guides by Waugh

To name a few other good AK reads.

I like most all of Jim Rearden's books, I think he is still living in Homer.

Yes, that was a very interesting read, times were very different back when that one was written.
