I swung through the pawn shop and saw the most unique pump shotgun ever. It looked like the typical mossberg bolt action 12 gauge, but it was a removable box magazine pump shotgun.
The full stock looks like a bolt action, but there is a small black plastic pump on front. Really unique...
I'm tempted to buy it for the unique nature of it.
Anyone own these or see one?
Durable gun?
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

Mossberg 200k. Most came with the "C-Lekt-Choke" system. Only made for 4 years from 55 to 59. They tend to go for between 150-250 depending on condition and if they have the choke system.
Fun little guns, and a definite oddity to add to the collection.

My grandfather gave me one back in the mid 60's when I was about 16. I hunted with it for several years before I traded it in on an Ithaca SKB 600. Wish I had them both back.

tempted... just for a truck gun that you can load fast. 2 or 3 rounds in the mag?
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

I just had to google that model since I have never heard of it or seen one. Looks like a pretty interesting shotty.

tempted... just for a truck gun that you can load fast. 2 or 3 rounds in the mag? I think it's a 1 in the chamber 2 in the mag situation to keep it "plugged" for migratory bird regs. Just like how everyone ships their shotties with dowels in the tube mag for pumps and auto-loaders these days. I know the 16ga version is a 2-shot mag for sure, so I'd assume the 12 is as well.
