I know the obvious answer would be to contact Merkel USA, however my good friend is having communication problems with one of the reps and am wondering if anyone here knows what ammo Merkel regulates their doubles with. Specifically 375 H&H

The Merkel USA tech rep was indifferent and really didn't want to help. My friend had sent in the rifle and ammo and this rifle wouldn't do any better than 6-8" at 100 yards.
The rep kept insisting there was a target with a group in the box but for whatever reason his was never there. They also told him all they had was a 25 yard range to shoot his rifle and check it out and they didn't know what ammo their factory regulated the rifle with.
Anyway, after months and months he called this week and said just send the rifle back. All of a sudden this rep thinks he can research records from the factory and find out and get some ammo it was regulated to. Go figure.
I'll try and post conclusion if one ever comes.

I have a Merkel double in 500NE and it regulates with the Hornady Dangerous Game ammo, but then again there is little other ammo available in this cartridge. I think Hornady make this ammo also in 375H&H.
Whatever you said...everyone knows you are a lying jerk. That's a bold assertion. Point out where you think I lied. Well?
