Heck of a nice set of rifles there, GW. The wood on those two is spectacular.

But, it probably won't even get a look from the stick in the mud. Maybe photoshop some rattle can paint and yellow duct tape on it, and some rocks and water under it, with some rust splotches thrown in here and there. Then he'd be drooling. But, then he'd curse you and Cooper for having a retard rate of twist and not being able to shoot anything heavier than an airsoft pellet, which he is the master of.

Ya’ heard the one about the three sailors that hit port, and went directly to find some sportin’ entertainment at the local brothel.
First walks in and does his business. The lady in question sez “ ah, ten inches, best I’ve had today”.
Second guy comes in and does his business. The lady in question sez “ah, eight inches, next best I’ve had today”.
Third guy comes in. Man is his Johnson tiny. The lady in question takes one look and sez, “who you gonna please with that”?
The 3rd man sez “ME MOFO!!!!!!
So the moral of this story, I really don’t give a rats-azz what certain folks think, as I do this for Moi’

BTW,I do luv the warmth of wood........

And a ball to shoot off the bench as one can see those tiny dots appear on paper as there is virtually no recoil.

And talk about one that would spoil ya’, a sweeeet Model 21 Varmint Extreme in 223 Rem. (slooooow twist)

[Linked Image]
This lefty was the berries’. I’m a right hand shooter but on the bench, being able to hook your right palm over the scope, lift the bolt with your right thumb and then place a cartridge in the chamber with your left hand. Well IMHO, that can spoil ya!

Yep, I had a lefty VE in .223 and one in 22 PPC. But, I'm a lefty anyhow. So accurate, they made me look bad cause I couldn't blame a damn thing except myself for anything other than a bullseye. I loved that PPC cartridge.

Might be quiet here for a while, considering it's super bowl Sunday and drinking and partying.....Oh wait, that's just another normal Alaska day.

And the old 20 Tactical……

[Linked Image]

This black bird made the mistake of lighting in a tree a lazer ranged 286 yds away. IIRC I was shooting the 40 grainers over 24.5 gr. of Reloader 10x for +/- 3,800 fps at that time.

[Linked Image]

Todd Kindler would be proud. LOL

Back when I started collecting Coopers, with the exception of the rimfires, only single shots were available. The model 52, then 54, then 56 and 51 were yet to come into existence.
Kinda got spoiled by the single shots and I guess I’m behind the curve, as the only Cooper repeater I’ve owned was a Model 52 Jackson Game…….

[Linked Image]]

It was a shooter……….

[Linked Image]

After a couple dozen, I've yet to fondle one that wouldn't chamber or shoot lights out.

Just sayin'

Glenn,

personal question...

is there a caliber in existance that you don't currently own one of, or at least owned it in the past?

did you ever inventory exactly how many die set you've have to keep those babies running??

this thread is great with your threads countering MiniMe's...

plus you can type and speak English, where Stumpy only speaks AK Trailer Park Gibberish.. sort of a northern white guy version of Ebonics...

Plus you can bet for damned sure Stumpy is burning the midnight oil big time putting together a response for everyone posting since he last did...

GDub, I bet in response to your pics, he is scouring his library with his Lab, to find pics to do his usual "one upmanship" on you....by the time he does post, ya know he'll be so wired on meth.... he won't sleep for a week...

he'll be out all day tomorrow, cleaning his guns in the creek once again...

'dubya,

I reckon it is farrrrrrrrrrrrrr from "surprising",that no matter where you go,it culminates in yet another "exciting" Ass Setting "Adventure".

The Texas Version of EVERYTHING,is fhuqking hilarious!

Bless your heart.

Laughing!.................

Oldelkchunt,

You suck a mean ass.

Congratulations?!?

Laughing!...............

'tailer,

She's still trying to cypher seating die geometry and has yet to pull the trigger on a live round.

But it IS getting close!

Laughing!................

Shefire,

You flatter yourself, that a Do Nothing Whining Kchunt can "do" anything...other than be a Do Nothing Whining Kchunt.

No "danger" of you EVER turning a lick...you "lucky" kchunt. Be sure to cite any/all words that were too "long" or too "fancy" for you to fhuqking cypher. Hint.

Laughing!

Bless your heart.

Laughing!...............

'Nut,

Unfortunately and despite the hype, the Canon 5D MK II was/is a dismal piece of schit, with heavily compromised AF. It bumped noise handling capabilities a smidge, but still wears Gen 1 5D AF,which is absolute dog schit. Bummer on having to suffer same, but congratulations on not being able to discern something so glaring. Hint. Laughing!

The 85L 2 is a slowpoke turd,in regards to AF. Bummer there too. The 24-70 isn't horrid,though the Gen 2 is stellar. The 70-200 2.8 V2 is a peach...so you got (1) right. Congratulations?!?

G-12 fill/catch and it's nice to see myself in the apple of the eye...which is a constant. Hint.

Just sayin'.

[Linked Image]

GOOD talk, you gals really "know" your stuff.

Bless your heart.

Laughing!..............

Outdoor Hag,

I reckon all that noise from the first poke, through that piece of fhuqking schit,is gonna be a bit more than a touch disconcerting. Can't wait for the "report". Pun(s) be intended, you poor poor Clueless Fhuqk.

Bless your heart.

Laughing!...............

'Mi,

Don't "forget" how much you "don't care",as you mention my name 1000+ times a day. Laughing!

Here's to your Imagination and it's Pretend and just how badly you NEED it...to help satiate your incredibly long list of amazingly WELL founded insecurities. You "lucky" kchunt.

Bless your heart.

Laughing!................

'lia,

Awesome pic! Was it taken through Shrapnel and Elkchunter's Coke Bottles?!? Laughing!

Sometimes it's nice to drag a shutter,to convey mood.

Hint.

[Linked Image]

Shooting backlit, ain't as bad as some think. Hint.

[Linked Image]

It'll often convey a mood. Hint.

[Linked Image]

A sillywetted 4-ground ain't tough to suffer.

Hint.

[Linked Image]

I don't fret dynamic range a whole fhuqk of a lot and will happily balance clipping both ends of the relative spectrum,to paint a poignant purty peecture.

Hint.

[Linked Image]

'Course I never much fretted the "rule" of thirds either. Though I do enjoy Window Lickers gunnin' schit with their fhuqking phones, like they are "doing" sumptin'. Hint.

Oopsie!

Bless your heart.

Laughing!...............

John,
IIRC, I've loaded for 75 different chamberings between 17 hornet to 458 Lott.

Actually I operate within a narrow band of mediocrity. Don't do militaria or for the most part, metric calibers.

Although I've had several AR's, and my son has built a half dozen up to 458 SOCOM, I don't care for the aesthetics of what is termed the "modern sporting rifle" (AR platform). They can rival the accuracy of my best bolt guns, but I don't like the way they carry in the hand. or lie on the rest.

Also, I'm not much into the lever gun/black powder/cowboy action scene.

I don't load for shot-shells.

Just sayin!

As to KemoSabe, I get a kick out of Stick. He's got a killer wit and instinct, knows tons more than I do in regards to anything that has to do with rifles, and is an amazing photographer. I've told numerous folk, that he makes a great foil, and if it were not for BS, I'd not post half of what I do. It's a shame he don't play well with others. I'm told that was not always the case.

So keep those jibes n' insults coming KemoSabe.

Just add some fresh pix now and then......

Pretty Please, with sugar on top.

an I'll be sure to keep up my end.

So here's a ditty for a guy that's witty!

BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN
Harry McClintock, circa 1890

One evening as the sun went down
And the jungle fires were burning,
Down the track came a hobo hiking,
And he said, “Boys, I’m not turning.
I’m headed for a land that’s far away
Besides the crystal fountains.
So come with me, we’ll go and see
The Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
There’s a land that’s fair and bright,
Where the handouts grow on bushes
And you sleep out every night.
Where the boxcars all are empty
And the sun shines every day
And the birds and the bees
And the cigarette trees
The lemonade springs
Where the bluebird sings
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
All the cops have wooden legs
And the bulldogs all have rubber teeth
And the hens lay soft-boiled eggs.
The farmers’ trees are full of fruit
And the barns are full of hay.
Oh I’m bound to go
Where there ain’t no snow
Where the rain don’t fall
The winds don’t blow
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
You never change your socks
And the little streams of alcohol
Come trickling down the rocks.
The brakemen have to tip their hats
And the railway bulls are blind.
There’s a lake of stew
And of whiskey too
You can paddle all around it
In a big canoe
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
The jails are made of tin.
And you can walk right out again,
As soon as you are in.
There ain’t no short-handled shovels,
No axes, saws nor picks,
I’m bound to stay
Where you sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk
That invented work
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.
….
I’ll see you all this coming fall
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains

….
The punk rolled up his big blue eyes
And said to the jocker, “Sandy,
I’ve hiked and hiked and wandered too,
But I ain’t seen any candy.
I’ve hiked and hiked till my feet are sore
And I’ll be damned if I hike any more
To be buggered sore like a hobo’s whore
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.”

Agree with ya on MiniMe there G'Dub...you know he lives for this schitt.. I'm sure the campfire is more a social life for him than what is available in Craig AK...

enjoy your pics also...always have, even back from our AR days...
and like everyone, always love the rifles you do have... my collection looks so bourgeois compared to yours...

but hey, its all good...

Stumpy is kinda like the campfire court jester....
and he's good at what he does..

Well stumpy....

your dog must have helped you type most of that...or he just did it himself again, to same himself for the embarrassment..

it was easier to 'cipher' so give the mutt a pat on the head from me.....I appreciate his efforts... makes reading your diatribes so much more easier...even without my AK Trailer Park Gibberish Decoder Ring from Ovaltine...

you keep battin and we'll keep laughing ( at ya)....

ya I have to admit, If I had desired to aspire to something special, I'd have shaved my head, moved to Craig AK and live in a shack and not take a bath but every 6 months...

you're living the dream Maynard.....

I'll let ya go tho, as I know you got a few more rifles to take down to the creek to clean read good.. I know pissing on them is what you consider field cleaning...as you've provided plenty of pics of doing that also...

for being shorter than the other 7 dwarfs... YOU'RE just FuGGen AweSUM!!!!!
