It didn't work !

Sorry.

Funny thing was, I did wash my hands, numerous times, during prep, before eating & then hand washed the dishes. Was sitting back, sipping a spiced whisky, about 3 hours later & just happened to wipe my left eye, with my left hand, not knife hand !

Mild irritation resulted. I can only imagine the immediate result !

Looked online & people were suggesting nitrate gloves, or using a knife & fork to perform prep.

Pussies !

Spiced whisky? Mild eye irritation is hardly atonement for such a transgression. grin

I was beyond mildly irritated just reading that. Strongly suggest at least a 48 hour suspension from the 24HCF.

Dang! I just looked at that recipe -- I think this is likely way too hot for this northern boy!

8 Scotch Bonnet peppers, chopped

2 Thai chili, chopped

3 ghost peppers, seeds removed, chopped

We're still deep in process. I've been coordinating some stuff from here, but I'm about to head out to the flooded house to get back to work. My brother and I are busy taking all the walls out of the first floor. It's going to be a full gut job.

Similar to above. Subbed grilled pork chop for the flank steak, and roasted snow peas for the green beans.

dumped a can of green beans ,and can of diced potatoes in the crockpot. bacon rapped 2 small pork loins and just layed them in on top. after 6hrs of cooking took the loins out and browned them under the broiler to crisp up the bacon. came out great best green beans and taters i've had in a while.

Deer burgers with Havarti & sweet baby rays + butter sautéed onions & mushrooms with a tablespoon of whole grain mustard, once cooked down & deglazed with a glug of balsamic, all served on grill warmed Kaiser buns.

Salad of red onion, cucumber, olives, grape tomatoes & feta on the side.

Beverages.

Shared with good friends, it didn't suck !
