Was looking for something different and a quick trip too Wegman's proved to be worthwhile.

Couple of pan seared soft shell crab sandwiches. Now I have to figure out how to build the sandwich. Just crab or all the condiments!!? Hmmmm.......

Damn, Flave and byc. Those are some awesome looking sammie packings!

I caught a good deal on some ribeyes last week and have been rewarding myself with them in one form or another since. smile

Probably oughta grill a hot dog or sumpin to bring me back to earth. grin

Thanks bubba!! Hope all is well with you!!

I'm really getting into the soft taco gig. You can darn near put anything into a soft tortilla!! Even a hot dog!! And less bread, which I can use right now.

That's what I wound up doing with the softies.

Putting fresh cilantro and spring onions in everything now. Especially multi cabbage slaw!!

Soft shell sammies are great !!!! When I lived in Maryland many moons ago we used to drive over to the Chincoteague Hotel in Va. to chow down on their "Spider Sandwiches".

YUM !! Those were the days. smile

College GF was a marine science major, now teaching same at large eastern seaboard university.

When they'd go out netting for samples, blue crab soft shells were a sometimes trickle down bycatch.

We made quick work of those!

The one constant for the spat meatballs is about 1/3 pork sausage added to the ground beef.

My kids (and I) looked forward to crabbing blue claws When we'd go visit my folks.

There was a news story today about a mass die off of 'bunkers' or menhaden .... prime crab bait in NJ.

Quiche, part deaux. Chickens keep laying...I'm getting backed up. Lol.

Tonight was onion, bacon, and black kale I had quick fried in a bit of OO and garlic. Was really good.

The black kale is one of my favorite greens. Super tasty.
