Breaded and browned these pork pieces in the pressure cooker too. Then threw the lid on and gave it to them for about 5 minutes.

Flave, that looks really good.

But, you really do suck on the ring necks. Haven't popped one of them in years.

Simple bone in skin on chicken thighs. Hit with dipshit rub & onto rack on a cookie sheet in the oven @ 300* for an hour. Side of sautéed greens & sweet peppers.

Forelle Blau, German style poached trout. Delicious! Hadn't had it in awhile. Caught that nice trout last Monday, and it turned out perfect, poached.

Meatloaf with creole sauce, mashed spuds and sauteed spinach at a favored place, O'Brien's, just down the road from our rural home. My wife had chicken fried chicken, spuds and gravy with youngest son Tony having a rare NY strip and grilled veggies. We met with another family, good friends, and had a great time.

I woke up early, hit the exercise room, had a cup of decaf, loaded the crock pot with smoked meaty boneless hock chunks, great northern beans, carrots, onion, chicken stock and packet of Goya Sabon A Jamon De Cociner. Headed to the garage to load some pig ammo for my 45 Colt M94, 21 grs of LilGun under the 260 gr Partition in Starline brass. Headed to the range with my youngest son and his "new to guns" girlfriend (2nd trip out with us). I dialed in the 94 that grouped very well and worked the SP-101 with new Hogue grip (what a difference from OEM), they worked my old Para P16/40, vintage Smith M41 I fitted with a modern short barrel, my DD AR topped with a PSA upper and his EAA 9mm and Mak. We had a great time and returned to this. It was a great day.

Looks good !!

Little OT but do you find the new Hogue grips you selected any larger? I find the SP-101 OEM grips too small and have been hoping to find something much more suitable to the grip. Just not had the time.

Thanks Ed--David

Yes, they are longer so the pinky rides the grip well and, better still, they fill the back side of the trigger guard so your knuckle is saved. A significant improvement.

Some lousy "pulled pork" meat that was supposed to be BBQ.

Middle Tennessee has forgotten what BBQ is, Pork, chicken or beef.

Why smoke it and some generate flavor when one can sell this substitute for the real thing . . .

TX my hat is off to you for still cooking the real thing!
