I was given a reloader a while back and I have been keeping my factory empties. I was told Remington sts hulls are very good and was wondering if the game loads and gun clubs are good too. All three have the same number of crimps. Gonna try some #7s for doves, pigeons and crows and #8s for clays. I always wanted to try #7s since their are no widely available factory loads in them.
Thanks

Guys over at the trap club reload gun club hulls. I think the game loads have a plastic insert base & most don't reload it.

Thanks The Gunclubs I have in 12 ga are the one piece hull (the ones you want) same as STS, except for the metal base color. Just make sure they're a one piece hull, not hulls with a separate base-wad and you're GTG. There were some game load hulls that were one-piece also, I just can't remember the name of 'em and it's too cold to go to the shop to look! edit: I have/use the same hulls in 20 ga. also. edit#2 - went to shop anyway. The other hull was called "Sports Load" and they load same as STS's, same components/ data. I believe they have an aluminum base, not plated steel.

The Remington gun club hulls will out last STS hulls if the hull ends don't get to burned. The 20 gauge gun clubs load as good a reload with a perfect crimp as any hull I have ever used.

I think all Remington hulls have the same internal capacity, so data for them is identical. Double check that with a Lyman or Ballistic Products manual.
